The Role

Addepar's Workplace Operations team seeks an inspiring and hardworking player-coach with a desire to ensure we maintain safe, productive, and happy working environments for our employees. Reporting to the Chief of Staff - Corporate Programs, this person will lead our US team, including all aspects of operations, facilities management, and physical security across the current US and South American real estate portfolio. They'll engage with cross-functional partners including IT, Legal, HR, Finance, and others to partner on leasing, strategy, construction, design, vendor management, and beyond.

You'll be successful in this role by thinking strategically, leading confidently, knowing how to have fun at work, and using your high EQ to support Addepar's workplaces. This position is an onsite role based in our New York office and will be required to be in office 5 days per week.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $106,000 - $165,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do

Own the Workplace Operations US Team

  • Support, develop, and empower your team to drive a strong culture.
  • Lead local facilities operations, vendor relationships, food and beverage, and beyond in the NYC office.
  • Work with Information Security, Finance, Legal, IT, People, and other key partners to ensure alignment and high, cross-functional standards are implemented.

Plan the Americas Real Estate & Facilities Strategy & Budget

  • Provide forward-thinking workplace and real estate solutions applying market intelligence.
  • Drive the development and implementation of strategic plans, participating in annual operating budget processes.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a 6+ years’ leadership level workplace and facilities management experience. People management experience preferred.
  • You've mastered the end to end processes and practices related to facilities and workplace and enjoy bestowing that wisdom onto your team.
  • You enjoy and have a proven track record of building and growing distributed teams.
  • You have consistently lead multiple priorities independently, proactively, and simultaneously in a constantly evolving environment.
