The Role
We are currently seeking an Assurance & Deal Desk Analyst to join our GTM Operations team in Edinburgh. As an Assurance & Deal Desk Analyst, you will be the operational backbone of two connected processes: client and prospect Assurance (security and compliance due diligence, including trust center profiles and bespoke questionnaires) and Deal Desk (quoting, approvals and contracting). You will keep deals moving, hold the line on process and policy, and work closely with cross-functional leaders across Information Security & Risk (ISR), Legal, Compliance, Product, Finance and Sales to make both processes faster and more scalable.
Applicants must have, and maintain, the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
What You’ll Do
- Own the day-to-day operations of the client and prospect Assurance process: triage incoming due-diligence requests, confirm prerequisites (such as an NDA on file for prospects), and guide GTM partners on sharing the right trust center (Whistic) profile based on client ARR tier.
- Manage the Assurance Jira intake queue: review bespoke documentation and questionnaire requests, apply ARR-tier rules, route exceptions for approval, and track every request to completion against clear turnaround targets.
- Coordinate responses to bespoke security and compliance questionnaires using approved collateral, partnering with subject-matter experts in ISR, Legal, Compliance and Product to keep answers accurate and consistent.
- Support the Deal Desk process in Salesforce and CPQ: quote review, SOW and order form routing, and approval workflows across GTM Operations, Finance and Legal; review deals for policy and pricing compliance and escalate non-standard terms.
- Build trusted working relationships with cross-functional leaders in ISR, Legal, Compliance, Product, Finance and Sales; set clear expectations on timing and resolve competing priorities to keep deals moving.
- Maintain our trust center profiles and approved answer library, flagging stale or missing content and driving updates with content owners.
- Keep Salesforce and Jira records (contacts, accounts, NDA status, profile share and access data, request status) accurate and audit-ready.
- Report on Assurance and Deal Desk volume, turnaround time and bottlenecks, and take initiative to design, document and continuously improve repeatable processes, leading small-to-medium process improvement and automation projects with limited guidance.
- Contribute to GTM Operations process documentation and enablement for Sales and Client Success teams.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of related experience in sales operations, deal desk, security or compliance operations, contracts, or a similar process-driven role (or at least two years of related experience with a Master’s degree).
- Highly organized, operationally focused and strongly process-oriented: you naturally think in workflows, SLAs and repeatable steps, and have a track record of managing many concurrent requests, deadlines and handoffs without letting anything slip.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Salesforce (or another CRM) to manage queues, workflows and records.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional leaders in ISR, Legal, Compliance, Product and other teams, translating between business, security and legal needs and building consensus without direct authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable explaining policy and process to sales and client stakeholders.
- Sound judgment on when to apply the rules and when to escalate; able to work with little supervision.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Self-motivated and proactive: you take ownership without waiting to be asked, drive work to completion independently, and know when to bring others in.
- A plus: familiarity with trust centers and security questionnaire platforms (Whistic, Vanta, SafeBase or similar).
- A plus: experience with CPQ, SOC 2 / ISO 27001, common due-diligence questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ, DDQ), or a background in financial services, wealth management or enterprise SaaS
