AgentSync is a powerful, easy-to-use Compliance as a Service solution, directly integrating regulatory database sources of truth (i.e. NIPR, FINRA) with core business systems (i.e. Salesforce) so we can automate the critical business processes associated with these compliance requirements.

We’re a new-school solution tackling an age-old, ubiquitous problem with smart technology and automation in a market full of inefficient, high-cost solution options - spreadsheets, manual processes, legacy software, more headcount, outsourcing, etc.

This position may be based in our Denver, CO office or remotely from one of the following states: DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MO, NC, NV, OH, OR, TX, UT, &VA.

As an Engineering Manager at AgentSync, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions within the dynamic Insurtech space. You will play a key role in managing the development of custom project solutions from inception to delivery, ensuring seamless technical execution while exceeding customer expectations. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the development of cutting-edge solutions that help solve some of the most challenging problems in the industry, leveraging advanced technologies and best practices. The ability to navigate complexities in software architecture, data management, and automation will be crucial as you guide your team through ambitious project milestones. By fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, you’ll have a direct influence on both the customer's success and your team’s professional growth. What you’ll do:

  • Execution & Delivery
    • Participate in the design phases of epics, from reviewing the epic to assigning squads.
    • Manage user story refinement, solution design, and ensuring acceptance criteria are met
    • Oversee project scoping, sequencing, and scrum team management
    • Lead all scrum related ceremonies and Jira project administration
    • Stay informed on project risks and mitigate customer specific development exceptions
    • Drive metrics tracking for delivery quality, automation, and cross-pod collaboration
    • Assist with resource planning and capacity management to ensure productivity metrics and velocity expectations are met, collaborating with PS directors to address staffing needs and resolve any capacity issues.
  • Product Expertise & Vision
    • Actively participate in design sessions, understand customer usage, and stay up-to-date with new product features as well as Salesforce platform development and extension features
    • Align your team with the product vision, articulating ROI for specific customer enhancements, refactoring, and spikes
    • Contribute to solutions for the maintenance of customer specific enhancements and future system improvements
    • Should oversee QA processes for team based development
    • Should oversee release processing for team based development and CI/CD process pipeline where customers require it
  • People Management
    • Foster the growth and development of direct reports through clear priorities and individual development plans (IDPs)
    • Provide guidance on solutioning and problem-solving
    • Promote a positive and innovative team culture that encourages efficiency and leadership
    • Offer feedback and support for team members’ personal development
    • Mentor junior team members
    • Extend and enforce best practices

Your experience:

  • 8+ years of hands on Salesforce implementation experience with, strong knowledge of Salesforce product and platform features, capabilities, and best use of it
  • 5+ years experience in leading and managing engineering teams of greater than 5, with a focus on project delivery and quality
  • Strong technical expertise in software development focused on Salesforce, integrations and building customer solutions along with a good understanding of enterprise architecture principles
  • Proficiency in Scrum methodologies, Jira project management, and project sequencing
  • Skilled in providing technical solutions, refining user stories, and working cross-functionally with product teams
  • Strong people management skills, with a focus on upskilling and developing direct reports
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience in delivering feedback and driving cultural improvements within teams
  • Structured and well-organized work cadence with comfort tackling complexity and ambiguity
  • A strong track record of problem solving and a “roll up your sleeves” mentality

Salary:

In accordance with Colorado law, the following represents AgentSync’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role, if hired in Colorado.

Denver/Boulder Metro

$190k - $220k + Annual Bonus

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in AgentSync’s equity program.
