What we're looking for:

Arena is seeking a Senior Product Designer that uses a collaborative, user-centric approach to tackle complex problems and own the end-to-end design process for major features and iterations.

You are:

• You are a storyteller. You promote the vision for the product and achieve it through design explorations, documentation, and presentations
• You take action. You use your years of experience to quickly move projects forward, using domain expertise, establishing principles, and conducting research
• Solve complex design problems across the web and mobile devices
• Collaborate with product owners/managers to give shape to roadmap items
• Find opportunities for improving customer experience and propose new features/solutions and validate assumptions through research
• Ability to quickly explore and derive approaches early in the design phase through, sketches, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and enabling better estimation of the projects
• An advocate of design systems. You can utilize existing design systems and standards while working to improve them
• Work with engineering to deliver and validate the final product
• You must have expertise in conducting usability tests
• Ability to negotiate estimates, consider your ideas, and accommodate feature requests

You will:

• Design across many mediums, from mobile to desktop
• Create and collaborate on the product vision with leadership
• Work with essential design, product and engineering partners
• Influence design practices team operations within a fully remote team
• Apply domain expertise and research to keep work moving forward

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant design experience
• You have a portfolio or use cases that shows work you were directly responsible for
• Experience as a primary contributor to multiple high-impact projects
• Advocate the customer's perspective
• A collaborative mindset, with experience working across teams and forging partnerships
• A fluent understanding and ability to design within Figma
• Deep understanding of dashboards for B2B enterprise SaaS products
• Familiarity with CSS/Javascript
• A passion for building user-focused products that solve important problems
• Fluency in English
