Marketing & Growth Lead

We’re looking for a Marketing & Growth Lead to own and run all our marketing and outbound initiatives end-to-end.
You’re a great fit for this role if you have owned all marketing end-to-end for an early stage startup or have experience on a small team at a fast-growing startup, and are now looking to level up your skillset and take more ownership. You’ll work directly under one of our co-founders, and this will be a very fast-moving role with lots of opportunity for advancement. You’ll wear a lot of hats and have access to a lot of resources.
We believe in promoting people based on results, not seniority or years of experience. If we grow fast, so will you.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with freelancers to manage and grow our outbound email and LinkedIn motions
- Finding and managing marketing events and partnerships
- Working with freelancers to fine tune our paid ads, SEO, and optimize our website
- Overseeing our content strategy, including running and growing our newsletter and webinars
- Finding and managing partnerships with industry publications and influencers
- Working closely with our co-founders to refine how to best reach our target audience and find new growth channels
- Helping to manage and grow our advisor network, who often make intros for us
- Working closely with AEs and CSMs to understand our customers, what they care about, and what makes them successful
You will be successful in this role if you can cut through the noise: Get creative with new campaign ideas, be ruthless about execution, and solely focus on what drives qualified meetings booked with AEs, while keeping an eye on broader investments in brand and awareness.
You are right for this role if you have:
- Min 5 years of experience in a marketing or growth role at an early stage startup
- Proven effectiveness + tactics across a variety of channels
- Willingness to learn and take on new projects
- A “I will figure it out” mindset
- An ability to balance a long-term perspective on brand and customer focus (awareness) with a short-term perspective on getting leads in the door (conversion)
- Been using AI relentlessly in your roles to date, because not doing so is irresponsible
You are wrong for this role if:
- You require hiring a team under you before getting points on the board
- You require building out an in-depth infrastructure before getting points on the board
- You have only worked in an environment with a large team and unlimited resources
- You are only highly specialized in one growth channel
- You would only consider yourself a creative marketer or performance marketer
Role Details:
NYC preferred but remote okay (key GTM team members in NYC, company is remote)
$130-150k base + equity
