The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.
We are looking for a motivated cleaning professional to join our team in Bastrop! This is the chance to get in at the ground floor at the company that is revolutionizing transportation. Our Custodian/Job Hand is responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of our Bastrop location.
Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and building maintenance activities (painting, patching holes, etc.)
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Placing and Pouring Concrete
- Stripping surfaces
- Float Finish and Edge
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver's License
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, mini excavators, etc.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel for short and extended trips as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in heavy construction areas.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
