The Senior Manager, Business Systems will lead a high-performing team of Business Systems Analysts supporting ClickUp’s GTM motion, with a mandate to drive AI-first, scalable, and user-centric systems across Salesforce, CPQ, and the broader revenue tech stack. This leader is a player-coach who combines deep GTM systems expertise with relentless ownership, moving with urgency to translate strategy into impact through elegant, reliable solutions that materially improve GTM outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of BSAs supporting GTM processes, setting clear expectations for speed, quality, and ownership while providing hands-on mentorship and feedback.

  • Build and continuously refine team processes for intake, prioritization, delivery, and QA to enable rapid, iterative releases with high reliability and stakeholder trust.

  • Act as the GTM systems owner for Salesforce, CPQ, and adjacent tools, ensuring a cohesive architecture that reduces app sprawl and supports future scale.

  • Partner with Sales, GTM Operations, Finance, and Growth to define and execute the roadmap for end-to- end GTM processes, including prospecting, routing, opportunity management, quoting/contracting, forecasting, and commissions.

  • Drive AI-first solutioning by identifying automation opportunities, orchestrating AI agents and workflows, and embedding AI-powered features into core GTM processes.

  • Lead AI competency building through hands-on experimentation and training, ensuring every analyst evolves into an AI builder capable of deploying agentic workflows.

  • Serve as a player-coach by stepping into complex BSA work (requirements, design, configuration, testing) on strategic initiatives to unblock the team and elevate standards.

  • Own cross-functional stakeholder alignment, ensuring clear communication of trade-offs, timelines, and business impact for all GTM systems initiatives.

  • Partner with Business Systems Engineering and DevOps to ensure robust integrations, monitoring, and near-zero downtime for critical GTM applications.

  • Collaborate with the AI Technical Center of Excellence to translate business needs into technical solutions, leading the configuration of AI agents and low-code automations within the BSA team.

  • Champion user-centric design across GTM tools, ensuring experiences are intuitive, fast, and delightful, with a feedback loop for continuous improvement.

What success looks like (12–18 months):

  • GTM teams experience measurable improvements in speed and efficiency (e.g., faster routing, shorter quote cycles, fewer manual steps) driven by systems changes you’ve led.

  • AI-powered workflows and agents are embedded in core GTM processes and are actively used by Sales and Finance, with clear time-savings and quality impact.

  • Your team operates as a trusted, proactive partner to GTM and Finance leadership, consistently delivering high-impact projects on aggressive timelines.

  • The GTM systems landscape is more converged, with reduced tool sprawl and better data flow across Salesforce, CPQ and financial systems.

  • You have shifted the team culture to prioritize urgency and iteration, significantly reducing cycle times for feature releases.

  • You have successfully upskilled the BSA team, where AI build competency is evident in their daily workflows and solution designs.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Business Systems, Revenue Operations, or similar roles, with 2+ years leading or mentoring BSAs or admins in a high-growth SaaS environment.

  • Significant hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, including designing and implementing complex quoting, pricing, and approval workflows.

  • Proven track record owning end‑to‑end GTM systems initiatives that span Sales, Growth, and Finance, from discovery through adoption and iteration.

  • Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments where priorities shift quickly and execution speed is critical.

Skills and competencies:

  • Relentless ownership: Consistently takes responsibility for outcomes, drives through obstacles, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks across projects and team commitments.

  • Obsession with greatness: Holds a high bar for craft in systems design, configuration, documentation, and user experience; constantly looks for ways to uplevel the team and the tech stack.

  • Effectiveness and clarity: Proven ability to simplify complexity. You cut through noise to identify high-leverage points and avoid over-engineering solutions.

  • GTM architecture: Deep understanding of SaaS GTM motions (prospecting, routing, pipeline, CPQ, renewals, expansion) and how to stitch systems together to support them end‑to‑end.

  • AI and automation: Comfortable assessing processes for AI/automation opportunities and partnering with engineering or platform teams to deliver agentic, automated workflows.

  • Stakeholder management: Skilled at navigating executive and cross-functional dynamics, setting expectations, and aligning diverse stakeholders around a clear roadmap and impact narrative.

  • Player‑coach leadership: Able to dive into configuration and solutioning when needed, while also building scalable processes and developing the team’s capabilities.
