We’re fully remote and welcome candidates from anywhere in the US! We have all-company offsites a few times a year where we fly the whole team out to meet in person, build stronger relationships, kick off important projects, and have fun!

💼 Job Summary

We are seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you will be responsible for onboarding customers into using the Cortex platform, ensuring a smooth implementation, and helping customers achieve successful adoption. You will work closely with the Customer Experience teams to help customers realize the value of the product.

💻 Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical guide to customers through the implementation process and provide ad-hoc troubleshooting, support, and/or custom scripting
• Support customers after the initial deployment guiding them through implementation of best practices and identifying opportunities for optimization and expanding product usage.
• Educate customers on best practices to ensure smooth onboarding, faster adoption, and seamless user experience
• Drive product conversations based on needs and problems learned during customer interactions
• Engage internally with Product, Design, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to improve processes to achieve business needs and ensure desired outcomes

✔️Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical professional services working with enterprise-level customers from implementation to post-deployment engagements, including adoption and expansion.
• 2+ years of experience working with scripting in JavaScript or Python and the ability to read code while making simple code changes and write basic SQL queries.
• 2+ years of experience working with Cloud Architecture
• Comfortable in *nix shell
• Project management skills with a track record of delivering client-focused solutions on time.
• Understanding of software engineering methodologies and technologies such as Git, CI/CD, APIs, Containers, and Kubernetes

✏️ Noteworthy

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay for this role starts between $135,000 and $180,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for equity and benefits.
