We’re launching our first mobile showroom in San Francisco: a Pod demo on wheels that brings the product directly to consumers, with potential expansion to other markets. This is a high-energy, high-conversion retail operation, and the Tour Manager is the person who makes it all run.
This role is staffed and managed by Lime Media, Eight Sleep's experiential activation partner. You will be employed by Lime Media and work onsite representing the Eight Sleep brand.
How You’ll Contribute
Run guided, 30-minute Pod demos — greeting each guest by name, walking them through the technology, and making the experience feel personal from start to finish
Close on-site sales using the POS system and walk guests through the purchase flow and delivery details
Adapt your approach to each guest — some walk in ready to buy, others are just curious. Read the room and meet them wherever they are in the purchasing journey
Represent Eight Sleep with the energy, knowledge, and polish of someone who genuinely believes in the product — because you will sleep on it yourself
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Energetic, personable, and confident running one-on-one demos where the entire experience depends on you
Experience selling technical or luxury products — you understand high-consideration purchases and what makes someone pull the trigger
Comfortable talking about technology in a way that’s accessible and exciting, not clinical
Strong closer who can navigate pricing conversations, financing questions, and last-minute hesitation without being pushy
Ideally based in the San Francisco Bay Area, or willing to relocate for the duration of the program
Drive the mobile showroom between demo locations
Highly reliable — you show up early, you’re always prepared, and you treat every demo like it’s the most important one of the day
Comfortable being evaluated: mystery shops, weekly conversion tracking, and guest feedback are part of the job
Bonus Points
Background in sleep, wellness, biohacking, or fitness — you already speak the language of our customer
Prior retail or experiential marketing experience with a premium brand
Comfortable on camera for social content and organic moments during demos
Existing network in SF’s tech and wellness scene
Training
Two-day session at Lime HQ with Eight Sleep’s team covering the demo training
Visit to the Eight Sleep San Francisco office to learn engineering specifics from the team and sleep on a Pod yourself
Complete a full practice demo and be cleared by the Eight Sleep team during the week of May 20, 2026
