Recruiter
At Fellow, our mission is to transform how teams collaborate and make meetings productive for everyone. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Recruiter who will play a key role in building the talented team behind our AI Meeting Assistant and the broader Fellow organization.
In this role, you’ll help shape our recruitment strategy, identify exceptional talent across a variety of functions, and deliver a world-class candidate experience. If you’re passionate about connecting people with opportunities, thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and are excited about using AI to elevate how we recruit, we’d love to hear from you.
What makes this role unique?
At Fellow, hiring is a deeply collaborative process. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and leadership to build intentional recruitment strategies, refine job requirements, and support equitable, efficient hiring practices.
This role goes far beyond filling open roles—you’ll influence how we build our teams, strengthen our culture, and scale thoughtfully. While you’ll bring experience in technical recruiting, you’ll also support hiring across all departments as our founding recruiter.
You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment with and implement AI-powered approaches to talent sourcing, screening, and workflow optimization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process—from sourcing to onboarding—across technical and non-technical roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft job descriptions, and design candidate assessments.
- Use AI tools, creative sourcing strategies, social platforms, and networks to find and engage top-tier talent.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as an ambassador for Fellow throughout the hiring journey.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for immediate and long-term hiring needs.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes with data, insights, and modern best practices.
- Take on HR-related responsibilities, such as supporting onboarding, people programs, and culture initiatives as we grow.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts throughout all recruitment practices.
Ideal candidates
- Have 2–5 years of recruiting experience, including technical recruiting in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Are experienced with or genuinely interested in using AI to enhance recruitment, sourcing, and workflow optimization.
- Have HR-related skills or interest in growing into broader People responsibilities.
- Bring outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers.
- Are highly organized, resourceful, and thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Are excited about contributing to Fellow’s culture and helping build a team passionate about the future of work.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma, ideally in HR or a related field.
- Reside in Canada.
