We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Dashboard team. In this role, you will foster a culture of high performance, helping engineers grow and build products and features that deliver exceptional value to our customers. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers responsible for developing and enhancing our Dashboard product, which plays a key role in helping customers prevent fraud and improve their own customer experience.
- Provide technical leadership by collaborating with senior engineers, staying informed about technology trends, and guiding the team through the challenges of scaling.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to team members and stakeholders with diverse technical backgrounds.
- Review code (PRs) when necessary, and provide guidance during complex technical architecture discussions.
- Coach and support the growth of software developers, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Work closely with product managers to deliver robust, customer-centric solutions that enhance the user experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading software engineering teams in an agile environment.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly within SaaS.
- Strong technical background in software engineering and cloud computing technologies.
- Proven ability to lead software projects that prioritize quality, reliability, and user impact.
- Demonstrated success in driving change and innovation in fast-paced, scaling environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading teams in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Go and TypeScript.
Compensation Range
$200k - $250k For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all US based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.
Offers vary depending on, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, certifications/licenses, skills, training, and market conditions.
Due to regulatory and security reasons, there’s a small number of countries where we cannot have Fingerprint teammates based. Additionally, because Fingerprint is an all-remote company and people can join our workforce from almost any country, we do not sponsor visas. Fingerprint teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location.
