First Resonance is seeking a Product Lead (PL) to join our small team. Each product lead is crucial and a center focal for the company and will immediately own a large portion of the product strategy. The PL will use their product experience and partner with customers, SMEs, marketing, sales, customer success, and engineering to guide our product strategy and craft detailed specifications. The PL must quickly understand manufacturing or supply chain and have a strong vision for the future of those fields and is expected to ramp up quickly. Product leaders must understand product best practices and agile methodology to maximize the impact that First Resonance and our products have on customer operations from a time savings, performance, and data quality perspective. The ideal candidate will have experience with APIs, data workflows, basic coding, design systems, and automation development.

Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and execute product strategy aligned with company goals and customer needs in the manufacturing and supply chain domains

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions and improvements

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and customer success teams to ensure successful product implementation

  • Understand and contribute to basic design systems to ensure product consistency and user experience

  • Ensure delivery of high product quality by actively participating in debugging and troubleshooting when necessary

  • Develop product requirements through user stories, specifications, and wireframes

  • Drive the adoption of agile methodologies to optimize product development processes

  • Measure and report on key product metrics, including user engagement and business impact

  • Act as a product evangelist, presenting to stakeholders and customers on product vision and roadmaps

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product messaging and features with market demands

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management

  • Strong technical background with experience in software development

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g. Mixpanel, Heap, Amplitude)

  • Experience running experimentation (e.g. Feature Flags, A/B Testing)

  • Experience releasing feature capabilities with a data-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agile development cycles

  • Experience working in a “Zero Trust” regulatory, compliance environment

  • Experience connecting and architecting different software products, preferably with a focus on building integrations using iPaaS

  • Experience with manufacturing operations and end-to-end workflows (Design to Manufacture, Procure to Pay, Forecasting to Floor Management, etc.)

  • Experience with SaaS applications (ERP, MES, SCADA, QMS, PLM, design tools or similar)

  • General understanding of web services, including transport (primarily HTTP), common data formats (JSON and XML), and standard API patterns (e.g., GraphQL, REST)

  • Familiarity with iPaaS tools (Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi, Paragon, Prismatic, Pandium, or similar)
