Overview

First Resonance is looking for a Manufacturing & Supply Chain Product Manager who brings firsthand experience from the factory floor, supply chain, or manufacturing systems role and wants to apply that knowledge toward building better software. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team of product managers who work directly with engineers and customers to prioritize needs, build functional prototypes, ship features, measure impact, and shape our product strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain and found themselves naturally stepping into product or process leadership to drive impact across their entire business.

Responsibilities & Duties

As a product manager, your goal is to design and deliver product experiences and services that help manufacturers build faster, safer, and more flexibly. You’ll design and ship high-quality features and workflows that are as functional as they are delightful and to manage the end-to-end experience from discovery to delivery. You will feel a sense of ownership throughout the process while generating your own ideas and collaborating with teammates and stakeholders to refine them.

  • You communicate your thoughts and decisions clearly and proactively, and talk to users constantly, knowing that their expectation may differ from your intuition.

  • You are a product leader who leverages data and user insights to create great initiatives, product ideas, and designs that solve complex problems and delight the user.

  • Partner closely with customers through user research, prototyping, and acceptance testing to deeply understand and optimize their manufacturing workflows

  • Transform complex manufacturing processes into intuitive user experiences by working with Engineers, Product Managers, Customer Success team members, and our Marketing experts.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve our existing product. Contribute to the overall strategy while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years in manufacturing, industrial engineering, supply chain, or related fields ideally at a startup or in an enterprise tools environment

  • Experience with ERP, MES, PLM, QMS, or factory-floor software

  • Experience working directly with manufacturers and supply chain experts (engineers, operators, planners, inventory specialist, supply chain experts, etc.)

  • Ability to own the end-to-end design process from initial concept to final implementation with a keen attention to detail in the hand-off to the Engineering team.

  • Ability to leverage AI tools for creating functional prototypes, developing specifications, analyzing user feedback, and generating data-driven recommendations.

  • A customer-centric mindset to understand, frame, and solve problems

  • Excitement about envisioning the future of our customer experience

  • Experience presenting ideas and initiatives to the business and to customers.

  • You bring a systems thinking mindset and can go from big picture to edge case details

  • Comfortable with some ambiguity and excited to own your corner of the product

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in following agile product development methodologies

  • General understanding of web services, including transport (primarily HTTP), common data formats (JSON and XML), and standard API patterns (e.g., GraphQL, REST)

  • Familiarity with agile workflows and product rituals (e.g. standups, sprint planning)

  • Interest and/or experience building out product functionality around manufacturing or supply chains

Benefits & Perks

  • Health Insurance; medical, vision, dental, & life insurance.

  • Paid Parental Leave.

  • Employee Stock Option Plan.

  • Team outings, group lunches, open office, happy hours.

  • Paid holidays, sick days.
