Sales Manager Role Details:

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to drive and manage Goody’s SMB + Mid Market Account Executives. This role reports into the Head of Sales and will be supporting a team of 3 ICs. You will be responsible for owning team forecasts, deal support + coaching, team training, managing team performance against monthly/quarterly sales targets, weekly outbound metrics + KPIs and more.

The perfect candidate should have a proven track record of success in reaching (and exceeding!) targets and have clear examples of how you’ve developed and implemented effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth as an individual and leading a team. As a fully remote company, we are seeking excellent communicators who manage time well and who can build trust and strong team camaraderie in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute various sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets through data-driven planning

  • Lead and motivate the AE team to achieve individual and team targets

  • Monitor sales performance against metrics, process and effort expectations and provide coaching / adjust strategies when necessary

  • Oversee sales pipeline, lead gen and sales cycle management and hygiene

  • Identify new target markets and ICPs we can service and collaborate with Marketing as needed for campaigns, sales collateral, etc

  • Support current team by providing professional development coaching, conducting deal reviews, and overall fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

  • Follow and execute on internal sales + cross-functional processes + SLAs - we work as a team at Goody!

  • Be the voice of the customer and share feedback to Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Merchandising and Partnership teams

  • Bring a “one-team” mindset and help keep Goody an exceptional place to work

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in a Sales Manager role, experience with end-to-end sales process (from lead gen to close) also required

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of sales professionals and execute against sales targets

  • Willingness to work in a fast paced but exciting startup environment

  • Must be disciplined in prioritization and communication as this role will support various time zones

  • Salesforce and forecasting tool experience required

Remote restrictions

  • Workday must overlap by at least 6 hours with San Francisco, CA, USA
