We are looking for a Senior Brand & Marketing Designer to join our team! As our senior brand designer, you’ll have a major impact in shaping how the outside world perceives Grata, and will be key in distinguishing and defining us as the brand leader in our category.

Grata is a hybrid company, which means our employees work from our NYC office (near Bryant Park) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

At Grata, we will expect you to:

  • Lead the execution of all brand design efforts including campaigns, website pages, event materials, sales materials, decks, swag, and more.
  • Establish, maintain, and evolve Grata’s visual identity and brand system
  • Create templates/guidelines for yourself, other team members, and future team members to ensure consistent and on-brand materials
  • Balance multiple projects at a time, shipping work quickly and often
  • Present your work to leadership, your team, and cross-functional partners
  • Maintain order and organization within working files for asynchronous feedback
  • Provide feedback and guidance to design/engineering contractors, ensuring consistency and cohesion across multiple channels
  • Participate in regular design reviews and be open to receiving and providing constructive feedback
  • Report to Grata’s Design Lead, as a member of the design team, while also being closely integrated into Grata’s marketing team

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of agency or in-house marketing/graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating visually appealing and thoughtful designs which demonstrate a sound understanding of your target audience
  • Experience designing website pages, event materials, sales materials, decks and more.
  • Experience creating and maintaining visual guidelines and templates for a brand
  • Proficiency in design software: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • A refined grasp of design fundamentals: typography, color, and layout
  • Proactive communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to receive and give constructive criticism
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and good at prioritization
  • Experience with figma design libraries
  • Motion design capabilities
  • Illustration

Grata is committed to providing competitive cash compensation and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated base salary for this role is $105,000 - $140,000 per year.
