Role Overview:
We are seeking innovative Full Stack Engineers with extensive ERP experience to build delightful frontend experiences along with building reliable, performant, and robust back-end systems. From JavaScript to TypeScript, HTML to React, and REST to GraphQL, you already work with some of the most modern coding tools. You possess hands-on experience working with any major ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, Netsuite, or Sage, and have a proven track record of building interfaces between ERP and other platforms. You’re equally comfortable writing detailed feature design documents, writing and deploying high-quality code and systems, and building reusable frameworks. You embrace cross-functional projects and teams and enthusiastically participate in identifying, hiring, and partnering to build world-class tech teams and companies.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with all Homebound teams, from engineering to customer experience Understand key needs and opportunities and then propose solutions and systems to effect change
- Develop and maintain interfaces between custom applications and ERP modules.
- Write detailed design documents and integrate feedback into said documents
- Write high-quality code and integrate code-review feedback into said code
- Deploy systems that are resilient, robust, and monitored
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- To build our clients: JavaScript, TypeScript, React
- To build our servers: TypeScript, Node.js, Backend API (REST or GraphQL), PostgreSQL, AWS
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems preferably Sage Intacct (others such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics are also valued)
- Note: You do not need to know all of these right now, but you are driven to learn them. Familiar technologies are also applicable.
- Integrate and customize ERP systems to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between custom applications and ERP modules.
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- A drive to understand how things work and a love of sharing that knowledge with others
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience leading projects and mentoring others to solve problems ● Demonstrated history and passion for the quality of our code base and customer experience ● Strong written and verbal communication skills
