ABOUT THE FOUNDING MARKETER ROLE AT GENHEALTH

GenHealth.ai is transforming the healthcare industry with cutting-edge Generative AI technology. We're seeking a creative and strategic Founding Marketer to help build our brand, generate engaging content, and drive awareness across all marketing channels.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Operations with direct ownership of day-to-day marketing strategy and execution, you'll be responsible for creating and distributing content across our blog, LinkedIn, newsletters, and other platforms. You'll help market our presence at conferences, develop compelling marketing collateral, and play a key role in shaping our overall marketing strategy as we scale.

While some marketing assets and channels already exist, this role will consolidate, refine, and professionalize our marketing efforts into a cohesive system that can scale.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and produce engaging content for our blog, LinkedIn, newsletters, case studies, and social media platforms
  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow our presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant channels
  • Multi-Channel Distribution: Publish and distribute content across all platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice
  • Conference Marketing: Coordinate marketing efforts for industry conferences (e.g., Medtrade, AHIP, etc.) including pre-event promotion, booth materials, and post-event follow-up
  • Marketing Collateral: Create presentations, one-pagers, flyers, whitepapers, and sales enablement materials
  • Campaign Development: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation
  • Email Marketing: Design and manage email campaigns through Mailchimp, including newsletters and nurture sequences
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and provide insights to optimize marketing efforts
  • SEO & Content Optimization: Ensure content follows SEO best practices to maximize organic reach
  • Market Research: Stay current on healthcare AI trends, competitive landscape, and industry news to inform content strategy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and leadership to ensure aligned messaging
  • Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, content marketing, social media management, or similar role
  • Startup experience strongly preferred—comfortable wearing multiple hats and moving fast
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools
  • Creative mindset with strong visual sensibility for creating engaging marketing materials
  • Excellent project management skills—ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across teams
  • Passion for healthcare and AI technology

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in healthcare or healthcare technology marketing
  • Prior experience leveraging LLMs and tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and others
  • Background in B2B SaaS marketing
  • Experience marketing at industry conferences and trade shows
  • Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Video editing and YouTube content management experience
  • Understanding of demand generation and lead nurturing strategies
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms
  • Experience with LinkedIn automation tools (e.g., Dripify)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $125,000 (based on experience and tenure)
