We're currently hiring a full-time Public Relations Manager. Led by a team of former admissions committee officers from some of the most prestigious schools, Inspira’s mission is to democratize access to higher education across millions of deserving students in the world, so that their education and life outcomes do not get determined by a zip code or resources of their high schools. Inspira has thus built one of the deepest benches of admissions counselors in the world who support candidates with all the aspects of their application process and help them position the best version of themselves.

We have seen tremendous growth and we just raised our Series A financing from leading Silicon Valley investors including Craft Ventures, David Sacks (Founding Member of PayPal), Jeff Fluhr (Co-Founder and CEO of Stubhub), Kygo, and other prominent angel investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns aligned with the company's goals and target audience.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, bloggers, and influencers, ensuring positive and productive partnerships.
- Craft compelling and tailored messaging for press releases, media pitches, articles, blog posts, social media, and other PR materials.
- Proactively identify and pursue media opportunities for coverage, interviews, and thought leadership contributions.
- Monitor media outlets and online platforms to track industry trends, news, and competitor activities, providing regular insights to the team.
- Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews, press events, conferences, and speaking engagements for company executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for PR content, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters.
- Monitor and analyze PR campaign performance using media monitoring tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging PR trends, and evolving media landscapes, applying relevant insights to optimize PR efforts.
- Proactively identify opportunities for thought leadership, awards, and industry recognition, and manage the submission process.
- Assist in crisis communication management by providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders and coordinating responses.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in public relations or related roles, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
- Minimum one year of experience in SEO as well as familiarity with SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Proven track record in successfully executing PR campaigns and securing media coverage across various channels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and platforms.
- Strong media relations skills, with an extensive network of contacts and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience in crafting compelling PR content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools, analytics platforms, and social media management tools.
- Familiarity with crisis communication principles and experience in managing communications during challenging situations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and make strategic recommendations.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for the education industry and a deep understanding of current trends and challenges in the field.
