Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the founders to develop and implement a marketing plan to drive the company’s growth through lead generation, market research and positioning, customer retention, and brand development.
- Create vertical specific marketing strategies for all of Inspira’s verticals and determine positioning and brand voice that resonates with key customers for each vertical.
- Coordinate efforts across paid search, paid social, content marketing, SEO, PR, social media, lifecycle marketing, and event marketing to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Optimize marketing mix based on performance metrics and industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales and customer success and to drive our ambitious lead generation, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify and target new or previously unrecognized segments within the market, competitor strategies and emerging opportunities.
- Oversee and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different channels and initiatives, and contribute to the company’s overall financial objectives by meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Plan and execute a marketing plan for key industry events, including trade-shows, partner events, fleet and customer councils, and webinars.
- Evaluate ROI of marketing campaigns, optimize based on performance metrics, and keep detailed records to present in board meetings as necessary.
- Lead, mentor and oversee talent acquisition for the marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment and providing training programs to ensure the teams growth and development.
- Safeguard and build the company’s brand in all marketing activities, events, and communications to ensure consistency and impact in messaging across all channels and events.
- Conduct market analysis, gaining insights into customer behavior and preferences to ensure marketing campaigns and efforts are successful.
- Drive digital strategies including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing by overseeing the development and optimization of the company’s online presence and e-commerce platforms.
- Develop and manage public relations and event planning strategies through engaging and industry-targeted content showcasing the value of the company’s products.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of marketing with experience in the D2C services space
- Early stage startup experience is a must
- A strong track record of both local and national marketing experience with demonstrated success in scaling businesses with multiple products/brands
- Strong understanding of customer journey optimization and lifecycle management
- Deep experience across digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, PR, influencer and event marketing
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Technical Skills : proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics), deep channel experience across organic/paid (Meta, TikTok, Snap, and Google), website optimization (webflow, Crazyegg, etc), proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot)
- Experience marketing to teenagers, college students, and parents of middle/high school aged children
