The Role
We're currently looking for MBA Admissions Consultants with Admissions Committee experience who are passionate about working with students to help them through their application journey. As an MBA Admissions Consultant at our organization, your role will be dedicated to helping students excel in all sections of the application process. Your mission is to work one-on-one with students to identify their weaknesses, build their confidence, and enhance their application as a whole. You will work closely with students, track their academic roadmap, and mentor them throughout the application process, leading them on their journey to their dream school! This role is integral to our organization's commitment to providing top-notch academic support and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Work with prospective graduate school candidates, helping them identify opportunities to build their profile for college and draft compelling application documents
- Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic and tactical guidance on school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the overall admissions process
- Identify optimal post graduate programs and schools for individual students; provide feedback and guidance to students regarding their research on university majors, programs, and relevant resources
- Support students with project planning, help them create and stick to effective timelines through excel-based trackers
- Stay up-to-date on the post graduate admissions process and programs to advise prospective and existing clients on appropriate school selection and the nuances of applying to graduate school
Qualifications:
- Formal experience as an Admissions Board Member or Admissions Committee Officer within MBA
- Graduated from or currently a student at Top 10 MBA Program (with particular interest in Graduates from Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Sloan, and Wharton)
- A passion for coaching
- Planning and organizational skills
- Strong English reading, writing and editing skills
- Experience in education, coaching, tutoring and admission consulting
