About Inspira Education

Inspira Education Group is one of the fastest-growing edtech startups in the US. We started with a simple mission to democratize access to high-quality coaching so that every student in the world has an equal opportunity to access the best opportunities.

As the world’s leading network of top admissions coaches in medical, legal, business, and college studies, we’re building software and services in one place—disrupting long-entrenched application processes with products and experiences that strive to provide an equal platform for candidates from diverse backgrounds worldwide.

As one of the fastest-growing edtech firms in the world, we are backed by some of the leading venture capital firms and investors in the world, including Zeev Ventures, Quiet Capital, Craft Ventures, Jeff Fluhr (Founder of Stubhub), and David Sacks (Former COO of PayPal and Founder of Yammer).

The Role

We’re looking for super energetic, entrepreneurial and creative Talent Sourcer to help us identify, engage, and pipeline top candidates across both our internal corporate teams (marketing, sales, operations, etc.) and our network of part-time counselors and tutors (including Ivy League admissions professionals, test prep experts, and more).

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a sharp eye for talent, and enjoys getting creative when traditional channels fail. You’ll be a critical partner to our recruiters and hiring managers, helping ensure we consistently attract high-quality candidates for our most business-critical roles.

This is a hybrid role, and you will work from our NYC office a few days a week. If you are currently not in NYC, we would be happy to pay for your relocation to NYC.

Why This Role Is Unique

  • You’ll work across both internal roles and external-facing counselor/tutor positions, giving you exposure to multiple talent profiles
  • You’ll own the top of the funnel and help define how we approach hard-to-fill and specialized roles
  • You’ll use both conventional and unconventional sourcing channels, from LinkedIn and referrals to Discord communities and university networks
  • As we scale, there’s an opportunity to take on more ownership and expand your influence within the recruiting function

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and define Ideal Candidate Profiles (ICPs) for each search
  • Build and maintain qualified pipelines for both internal hires and specialized part-time roles (e.g., admissions counselors, tutors, Ivy League alumni, etc.)
  • Supplement offshore sourcing support with high-quality manual search and outreach via LinkedIn and other platforms
  • Send personalized outreach messages and follow-up sequences to increase candidate engagement and response rates
  • Experiment with creative sourcing strategies
  • Ensure profiles are consistently and accurately uploaded to Greenhouse, with proper tagging, notes, and source attribution
  • Conduct initial screens when needed to assess fit and maintain candidate momentum
  • Track and report on sourcing activity and pipeline health, including response and conversion metrics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure we’re aligned on priorities and providing a strong candidate experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sourcing experience (talent or sales), ideally at a high-growth company
  • Proven success in sourcing for a variety of functions, especially business/corporate roles and hard-to-find or niche talent
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or SalesNavigator and other sourcing tools (Gem, social media, referrals, etc.)
  • Comfortable navigating applicant tracking systems (we use Greenhouse) or CRM (we use Hubspot)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clear, compelling outreach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You’re able to manage multiple roles and pipelines at once
  • Creative, persistent, and highly proactive in finding new ways to connect with talent
  • Bonus: experience sourcing in the education, edtech, or academic space.

What We Look For

  • A passion for connecting with talent and telling compelling stories
  • Curiosity and a drive to explore beyond traditional channels
  • Grit, follow-through, and resilience when roles are hard to fill
  • A team-first attitude and strong collaboration skills
  • A growth mindset and excitement to evolve with the company

Interview Process

Step 1: Recruiter Chat

Step 2: Video Introduction

Step 3: Live Case Study

Step 4: Meet With the Founders

The targeted pay range for this role is: $70,000-$85,000 (including performance bonus). Actual salary is dependent upon several factors, including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team and geographic location. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive will be finalized at the offer. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company.
