The Company

InvestX was launched in 2014 with a mission to bring transparency and trust to the private equity market. We are a leading cross-border pre-IPO investor offering access to private equity deals that, for many decades, were exclusive to a limited investing population.

With over US$500 million in investments and 80+ portfolio companies, we work with leading North American registered firms to offer accredited investors private equity investment opportunities in companies including Open AI, Anthropic, SpaceX, Airbnb, SoFi, Spotify, DocuSign, and many more. We have successfully launched multiple SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles) and diversified funds and are currently investing in our fifth fund.

InvestX is backed by leading financial institutions Jefferies, Virtu Financial, and Canaccord Genuity and has been featured in CNBC, Forbes, Bloomberg, U.S. News, Business Insider, Reuters, The Globe and Mail, and many other publications.

About the Role

The Director, Institutional Content & Product Marketing is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for shaping

how InvestX tells the story of its products, its performance, its founders, and its value to the institutional wealth

ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of investment insight, product strategy, and sales enablement—

owning the full suite of materials and narratives that empower our BD/IR team to win institutional trust and

accelerate capital formation.

You will translate complex investment information into clear, credible, and compliant content that resonates

with RIAs, independent broker-dealers, family offices, and institutional allocators. This role is perfect for

someone who loves going deep on product, thrives in a high-accountability environment, and can build a

world-class content engine from the ground up.

Why This Role Matters

InvestX’s growth depends on our ability to educate the market, build trust, and deliver institutional-grade

materials at scale. Wealth managers and family offices require:

  • Repeatable, clean, and compliant materials
  • Thorough DDQs, IC memos, and articulated product differentiation
  • Clear and consistent messaging across sectors, SPVs, and funds
  • Thoughtful narratives that make our sectors, founders, and opportunities come alive

This leader ensures we meet—and exceed—those expectations with sophistication, rigor, and speed.

Core Responsibilities

Product & Content

  • Own all fund and SPV content, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, FAQ sheets, and GP/founder track record materials.
  • Write investment theses, sector briefs, and macro/market outlooks tailored to the wealth channel audience.
  • Develop performance-update templates, quarterly investor letters, and recurring content formats.
  • Build and maintain a robust DDQ/RFP infrastructure that streamlines responses and improves quality.

Sales Enablement

  • Equip the BD/IR team with high-impact, standardized materials that support every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Build an internal “content library” for fast customization across deals, sectors, and client types.

  • Create channel-specific materials for RIAs, IBDs, and Family Offices that clearly articulate risk differentiation, and product fit.

Brand & Messaging

  • Refine product positioning to ensure clear communication of what makes our fund/SPVs unique.
  • Maintain message consistency across all client-facing channels, presentations, and materials.
  • Partner with Marketing and Compliance to ensure all content is brand-aligned, accurate, and compliant.

Qualifications

  • 7–12 years in financial services marketing (Institutional asset management, Wealth-focused product marketing).
  • Venture capital or private equity experience would be considered an asset.
  • Product storytelling for complex investment solutions.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills—able to convert complex data into compelling, concise narratives.
  • Deep understanding of private markets, wealth channels, and institutional diligence requirements.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with competing priorities.
  • Ability to balance creativity with precision, compliance, and operational rigor.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across BD/IR, Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Investments.
  • Eligibility to travel between the US and Canada to attend meetings; ability to travel as needed.
  • A Criminal Record Check and Credit Check is required for this position.

Salary & Benefits

  • Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, location, and qualifications for the role.
  • 2026 range is $150,000 - $170,000 USD plus incentive plan and equity.
  • Comprehensive Health & Benefit plan.
