Job Description:
ASU’s Learning Enterprise is seeking a skilled and dynamic Associate Director Product Marketing, Career and Professional Learning to help develop and scale our career and professional learning portfolio through B2C, B2B and B2B2C channels. In this role, you will use market research and strategic thinking to develop go-to-market strategies that make an impact, helping launch direct-to-market campaigns while enabling internal and external business development teams. You will also help support portfolio development strategy, develop tailored and custom program offerings, and refine reporting processes to drive actionable insights.
This role is based at ASU’s Tempe campus. A fingerprint background check is a mandatory step in the hiring process.

Essential Duties:
In your first year, you will:
Lead product launches: Manage and optimize the launch process for new courses and programs across both B2C, B2B and B2B2C, prioritizing market potential to achieve a 30% revenue increase from new launches.
Refine portfolio strategy: Package course content into relevant program offerings based on market research and learner insights, aligning with corporate partner needs while minimizing net-new content development.
Create and maintain a corporate menu: Collaborate with business development, customer success, and operations teams to develop and manage a clear set of options for tailoring and customizing course offerings to meet employer market needs.
Enhance reporting processes: Identify and enable actionable insights that improve product performance, identify sales trends, and boost customer success outcomes.
Develop and optimize scalable sales enablement kits: Implement scalable tools for internal and external business development teams to package key portfolio offerings for corporate partners, helping drive a 2x increase in corporate partnership revenue year over year.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy: In close collaboration with Sr. Director of Product Marketing, identify key market opportunities that position ASU’s unique strengths, backed by research and competitive analysis. Capture market feedback from internal and external teams to inform new offering development.
New Course Launches: Design and execute an evergreen process for educating, training and supporting the launch of new Career and Professional Learning offerings, bringing 5-6 new learning offerings to market per month.
Reporting and Insights: Analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to support 2X revenue growth year over year.
Business Development Enablement: Design and deliver enablement kits, empowering internal and external business development and customer success teams to effectively sell ASU’s Career and Professional Learning portfolio.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives to hit aggressive revenue goals.
Core Competencies:
Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling messaging and materials that stand out in a competitive market.
Proven track record driving revenue growth through exceptional product marketing and sales enablement.
Analytical mindset for measuring outcomes and improving processes.
Proficiency in revenue technology, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Slides, Figma and Canva (or similar platforms).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Demonstrated success in product marketing and sales enablement.
Experience managing product launches and creating impactful marketing materials.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities across teams.
Experience in product marketing, workforce development, or higher education.
Familiarity with managing complex portfolios and aligning offerings to market demands.
Proven ability to support partnerships with effective marketing strategies and tools.
Knowledge of trends in professional development and employee upskilling.
Working Environment:
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
May be required to perform tasks in the field within and/or across University campuses.
Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
