Position Overview

This role leads the strategy and execution of Product Marketing and Management for Gearing, with a focus on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and customer value across all stages of the buyer and customer journey. Responsibilities include developing and deploying integrated marketing campaigns, promotional content, sales enablement tools, and training programs that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption by clearly communicating product benefits and business impact. The position is responsible for creation of gearing specifications to be used for new product development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Lifecycle Ownership
    • Develop and lead standards for Product Management and practices for gearing.
    • Lead the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch processes, to ensure that the business is meeting customer needs.
    • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
    • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they are met.
  1. Strategic Marketing and Messaging
    • Develop and lead standards for Product Marketing Materials and sales tools that focus on linking product features to customer benefits.
    • Lead product marketing content development and deployment to create compelling messages that go beyond product features and speak to customer benefits.
    • Create compelling marketing content that maps to integrated marketing campaigns and product promotion themes (blogs, white papers, guides, emails and videos) and maintain development plan for resourcing and coordinated campaign planning.

  1. Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Be a contributing member of the business staff and a key member of the Go-To-Market leadership team.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products.
    • Balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
  1. Go-To-Market Execution
    • Manage product marketing campaigns and outline product marketing deployment timelines.
    • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
  1. Product Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical expertise and insights across the product portfolio, ensuring solutions meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and evolving customer applications.
    • Guide technical roadmap development by evaluating emerging technologies, automation trends, and competitive innovations.
    • Support complex sales opportunities by serving as a technical subject matter expert in customer engagements and industry forums.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in product marketing and management in gearing.
  • Must have a deep product and market understanding of gearboxes and channels to market.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product management and development lifecycle.
  • Experience in creating strong, engaging, and informative marketing copy and content through multiple media formats with aid from the WWE marketing staff.
  • Proven track record of developing, leading, and executing successful product marketing strategies.
  • Superb leadership abilities with strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively assign responsibilities and hold cross functional team members accountable.
