Role Summary/Purpose:
Reporting to the Commercialization Leader, OnePay, VP Marketing (L14), the Partner & Product Marketing leader will drive product marketing strategy, value proposition development, and partner marketing initiatives to accelerate adoption and program growth for the OnePay and Walmart credit program. This role will translate marketing and roadmap priorities into clear positioning, compelling messaging, and actionable go-to-market plans, ensuring campaign readiness across channels and touchpoints. The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate strong project management skills, organization, financial planning, and influence in bringing key initiatives to market.
This leader will partner closely across Synchrony and OnePay functions—including product, sales, analytics, finance, and tech teams—to ensure deliverables are aligned to portfolio outcomes in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Commercialization strategy & execution
Manage strategic planning processes to support critical prioritization and execution of marketing initiatives
Drive key strategies across the finish line, partnering with client and cross-functional teams
Develop strong business cases that influence key stakeholders and drive portfolio financial performance
Leverage Mastercard relationship, capabilities, and data to identify and execute on network opportunities
Value proposition and offer strategy
Lead development and evolution of the program value proposition, including customer benefit strategy and feature-level proof points
Partner across marketing and product to bring new benefits/features/offers to market with clear positioning and financial understanding to drive growth
Partner marketing with Walmart & OnePay
Support joint marketing initiatives with Walmart and OnePay, ensuring alignment to partner goals, standards, and timing
Represent OnePay’s priorities within SYF to effectively manage resources
Campaign readiness and go-to-market launches
Drive go-to-market readiness for launches by building cross-functional plans, milestones, and approval pathways (including legal/compliance)
Coordinate launch execution with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, accurate, and compliant deployment
Marketing insights & competitive positioning
Partner with analytics/insights teams to bring customer insights and performance learnings into positioning, messaging, and launch plans
Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and category trends to strengthen differentiation and improve customer relevance
Support measurement plans and post-launch readouts to capture learnings and recommend optimizations
Internal and partner strategic operating planning
Contribute to internal and partner operating rhythms (weekly meetings, MBR inputs, planning cycles) with marketing updates and decision support
Support annual/quarterly marketing planning by consolidating launch roadmaps, messaging priorities, and maintaining marketing fund projections
Help build repeatable playbooks and processes to improve speed, clarity, and cross-functional execution
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school equivalent and 8+ years of digital marketing within the credit card industry.
5+ years of experience in product marketing, partner marketing, or commercialization (financial services, fintech, or retail preferred)
Demonstrated experience developing value propositions, messaging, and go-to-market plans for digital and/or financial products
Strong cross-functional execution capability, including experience partnering with product, digital, analytics, creative, and risk/legal/compliance teams
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate product capabilities into clear customer benefits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable creating executive-ready materials
Highly organized with strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Analytical, insights-driven approach; comfortable with test-and-learn and performance readouts
Comfortable operating in ambiguity; bias for action in fast-moving environments
Collaborative, partner-first mindset
Grade/Level: 12
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
