This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Product Marketing in Canada.
This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of a fast-growing fintech SaaS company redefining how modern B2B organizations manage the full quote-to-cash lifecycle. You will be the first dedicated product marketing leader, responsible for shaping how the market understands a rapidly evolving category spanning quoting, billing, subscriptions, and revenue operations. This role blends strategic positioning, hands-on execution, and deep collaboration with executive leadership, including Product, Sales, and the CEO. You will define messaging that drives revenue performance, accelerate a high-velocity sales motion, and build the foundation for scalable go-to-market execution. Operating in a scrappy, AI-native, and high-ownership environment, you will be expected to move fluidly between strategy and execution. This is an opportunity to directly influence category creation, sales effectiveness, and company-wide narrative in a deeply product-led yet sales-driven organization.
Accountabilities:
- Own positioning and messaging for the quote-to-cash category and define how the product is understood across buyers, competitors, and the broader market.
- Develop and operationalize the full product marketing toolkit, including sales narratives, demo scripts, battlecards, enablement materials, and competitive positioning assets.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to lead end-to-end product launch strategy, ensuring clear narratives, measurable outcomes, and strong market impact.
- Build and scale high-performing sales enablement programs that directly improve win rates, deal velocity, and sales productivity.
- Create and manage a high-impact content engine focused on conversion, including case studies, ROI materials, competitor comparisons, and mid-funnel assets.
- Lead competitive intelligence efforts, including win/loss analysis and category positioning to sharpen differentiation in a crowded market.
- Develop and scale a customer advocacy program that turns customer success into reusable sales and marketing assets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to refine thought leadership and establish strong category voice and market presence.
- Operate as an AI-native leader, leveraging modern tools to accelerate research, content creation, analysis, and workflow automation across all PMM functions.
Requirements:
- 6–8+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including current or recent experience at Director level or equivalent leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience in startup environments (Seed to Series C), with hands-on ownership of building product marketing functions from the ground up.
- Strong fintech or revenue operations domain expertise, particularly within quote-to-cash, CPQ, billing, or financial infrastructure software.
- Deep experience supporting high-velocity, sales-led organizations with multiple AEs managing concurrent deal cycles.
- Exceptional positioning and messaging skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating clear, persuasive, and differentiated market narratives.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on builder while managing strategic initiatives across product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of buyer dynamics across finance, RevOps, and executive stakeholders in complex B2B environments.
- AI-native working style, with experience using AI tools to scale productivity, insight generation, and content development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling market messaging.
- Bonus: experience in category creation, PLG + sales hybrid motions, or building thought leadership programs for executive teams.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation aligned with top-tier market benchmarks, including meaningful equity participation.
- Fully remote-first organization with distributed teams across North America.
- Comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and mental health for employees and families.
- Generous paid parental leave to support growing families.
- Retirement savings plan with company contributions.
- Flexible paid time off policy focused on trust and autonomy.
- Opportunity to work directly with executive leadership and shape a category-defining go-to-market strategy.
- High-ownership, high-impact environment with strong focus on innovation and AI-driven execution.
