Overview

The Azure Accelerated Infrastructure Marketing team is seeking a technical, growth-minded leader to help drive our Quantum and Microsoft Discovery businesses. This role requires strategic thinking, cross-group collaboration, relationship management across our silicon ecosystem, business management, and strong storytelling.

Senior Product Marketing Manager will partner closely with engineering, field, marketing teams, partners, and our silicon suppliers to align on strategy and plans to drive impact. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who is excited to grow into a broader marketing leadership role, and who is comfortable supporting the full Accelerated Infrastructure business, including AI Infrastructure, HPC( High Performance Commputing ), Quantum, and Networking across both first party silicon and third party GPU silicon. This person should have experience with inbound and outbound marketing and have deep experience working in highly matrixed organizations. You will need to be skilled at tracking market trends and competitive positioning, working with highly technical audiences, and communicating clear value propositions.



Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the production and delivery of:

  • Scale and evangelize messaging and positioning for Quantum and Microsoft Discovery, with alignment to the broader Accelerated Infrastructure portfolio (AI Infrastructure, HPC, Quantum, and Networking).​
  • Collect insights from field, engineering, partners, and customers to inform roadmap priorities, solution validation, and proof points for Quantum and Discovery.
  • Work closely with field and engineering on product roadmap, workload targeting, value propositions, and go-to-market strategy for Quantum and Discovery scenarios.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, analyst relations, PR, executive communications, and silicon partners to support launches, briefings, and field guidance for Quantum and Discovery.
  • Deliver clear, impactful seller and field-ready resources (e.g., pitch decks, sales plays, competitive guidance) through coordination with marketing and sales stakeholders across Accelerated Infrastructure.
  • Deeply understand target audiences across technical buyer and developer communities, and tailor narratives for Quantum and Discovery adoption.
  • Build event strategies for first party and third party moments that advance Quantum and Discovery awareness and pipeline, and align with broader Accelerated Infrastructure priorities.
  • Develop and land outbound marketing outcomes and track impact, including narrative adoption, pipeline influence, and business performance for Quantum and Discovery.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in product marketing, product strategy, product management or consulting for technical products.
  • Experience in new businesses and building strong x-company relationships with multi-disciplined stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Experience to present Quantum and Discovery business results to Microsoft executives, and to represent marketing strategy to internal and external audiences.
  • Experience understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and community building must thrive working across organizational and cultural boundaries.
  • Experience building and landing audience-minded content that drives desired outcomes via modern mediums.
  • Ability to deeply assess the competition and drive perception-shifting efforts that differentiate Microsoft in credible, compelling ways.
  • Expeience presenting insights in a concise, effective, and influential manner to a variety of audiences, including senior executives on a regular basis.
  • Experience in one or more Accelerated Infrastructure areas (Quantum, AI Infrastructure, HPC (High Performance Computing), and/or Networking), including familiarity with first party silicon and third party GPU ecosystems.


Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
