TECHNICAL IT LEAD

Assist in the development, implementation and oversight of back-end and front-end software development functions for SaaS-based multimedia content and community provider. Develop an IT roadmap of the technologies to be used and/or developed as well as develop technical IT-based strategies to deliver efficient, scalable and maintainable long-term solutions for company’s software development functions. Propose and integrate new approaches/changes to software development and quality assurance lifecycles. Assist with selection and approval of products, tools and 3rd-party services to use on software development designs, implementations, integrations, etc. Design and implement sprint planning initiatives, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technological enhancements and innovations, and lead R&D efforts with the goal of bringing new products and services to organization through technology-advancements and modern software developing initiatives. Develop and maintain complex software implementations within company’s application platform, including live chat features and live stream features that increase user engagement and that add monetization solutions. Create and maintain a notification and data analytics system to increase user engagement and company demographics research. Develop, implement, update and maintain all payment transaction features and third-party payment methods by creating and maintaining core engine of company’s software system. Ensure the optimization and stabilization of the whole platform and improve the quality and speed of company’s software and platform. Develop high-fidelity software deliverables focusing on implementation ease while providing pixel-perfection and other UI/UX features that allow company’s web-based platform, both on website and on mobile applications, to stand out and attract users. Develop understanding of customer needs, including pain points, coding problems, and troubleshooting issues, to then assist in fixing problems and improving design quality and functionality in coordination with UX researchers, data analytics, software engineers, and product managers. Create APIs and other software coding and technologies that are innovative to the industry in behalf of company. Manage team that includes code reviews, discussions regarding possible solutions, daily discussions of progress and possible issues, and tracking progress of current tasks for timely delivery. Evaluate the progress and development of team members. Communicate and synchronize with other teams in order to schedule related tasks that will not interfere with other departments.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of full-stack software development experience building high quality web applications for startup entities

Remote: Eastern Time Zone only, also willing and able to travel 10-25% of the time (mostly domestic)
