meez is the recipe software that helps chefs create, organize, and build profitable menus while executing recipes with precision. It bridges the gap between the kitchen and finance, making data-driven decisions faster and easier.

We're looking for a driven Founding Mid-Market Account Executive to bring meez to kitchens across the country. If you're passionate about food service, have a track record of growing revenue in SaaS, and want to help define how we sell up-market, we want to meet you.

The Role

You'll own the full sales cycle for mid-market restaurant groups—from sourcing your own pipeline to closing deals. This is an outbound-first role with no reliance on inbound leads, PLG, or marketing air cover. You'll be expected to pick up the phone, build relationships from scratch, and convert prospects into customers.

Compensation: $175K–$225K OTE (50/50 base/variable split). Commission is uncapped—you earn a percentage of the ACV you close. We'd love nothing more than for you to break the model.

Travel: ~25% monthly for industry trade shows, regional dinners, and on-site visits with larger target accounts.

Our traction with 10–100+ location operators is real—you'll be selling something that genuinely solves hard problems for the people running kitchens.

Real growth, real trajectory. We're targeting 2x revenue this year by going up-market. If you want to be part of something scaling fast, this is the role.

What You'll Do

  • Source and close mid-market opportunities through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and events. Cold calling is non-negotiable.
  • Run discovery, lead demos, and manage deals from first touch to signed contract.
  • Develop deep product knowledge and stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Partner cross-functionally with CS, Product, and Marketing.
  • Hit aggressive monthly and quarterly targets while maintaining disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.

What We're Looking For

3-5 years of outbound SaaS sales experience. You've carried a quota, built your own pipeline, and closed mid-market deals with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.

Experience selling into multi-unit restaurant groups (10–100+ locations). Ideally you're coming from another solution that already serves this market—you know the buyers, the pain points, and how these organizations make decisions.

Hunter mentality. You're self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable creating pipeline from zero. You don't wait for leads—you generate them.

Quota consistency. Documented track record of meeting or exceeding targets, particularly in outbound-driven roles.

Credible with operators and execs. Exceptional written and verbal skills. You can engage both culinary leaders and business operators.

Restaurant or kitchen background (nice to have). Hands-on experience in professional kitchens is a plus—but not required.
