About Norm Ai
Norm Ai is the Compliance AI Platform for legal standards-based reasoning & workflow automation.
We developed the first Domain Specific Language (DSL) for fully representing regulatory requirements in an AI engine. This DSL, deployed with our enterprise platform, enables Norm clients to transform workflows and apply compliance checks at the source of business activities.
We are setting the norms for compliance processes at the largest institutions in the world. Our client base includes firms with a combined $17 Trillion in assets under management, and growing quickly.
Our Software Engineers came from Palantir, Google, Meta, AWS, Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. Our Legal Engineers are from Harvard Law, Stanford Law, Yale Law, Sullivan & Cromwell, Simpson Thacher, Davis Polk, Greenberg Traurig, the SEC, the Marines, and FINRA.
This Role
As a Client Engagement Associate at Norm Ai, you will be an essential part of our Client Engagement team, ensuring the smooth execution of operational and administrative tasks that drive client success. You will support the team by handling key responsibilities such as scheduling and coordinating client meetings, formatting and finalizing client-facing materials, taking detailed notes during client calls, and capturing and relaying valuable product feedback to the Product team.
Your role will help ensure that our Client Engagement Managers can focus on building strong relationships and delivering maximum value to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Drive client success: Support comprehensive client onboarding processes, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of the Norm Ai platform. Provide personalized support, ensuring that clients quickly see the value of our platform. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by delivering proactive weekly updates and any additional training or guidance needed.
  • Be scrappy: Look for any and all opportunities to add value to our clients. Leave no stone unturned and always strive for excellence.

Skills & Experience - Core

  • 1+ years of professional experience in client success, engagement, or account management roles within compliance, legal services, or technology.
  • Experience working with legal professionals, compliance officers, or in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, insurance).
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Willingness and humility to serve in a supporting role when needed, and independence and desire to take the lead when needed.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.

Skills & Experience - Pluses

  • Experience working in a legal or compliance capacity.
  • Prior experience in compliance consulting or working within financial services or insurance industries.
  • Experience with AI or AI powered technologies.
  • Experience at an early-stage venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
