About the team
To enhance this important mission, Overflow is building a world-class Engineering team. The Engineering team’s goal is to create scalable web and mobile applications that are innovative and user friendly. We emphasize iterative development in full partnership with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
Take full ownership to design and implement scalable technical solutions utilizing modern coding standards
Write unit tests and take responsibility for a high level of quality
Regularly participate in code reviews
Embrace a team culture of innovation and support
Have a service mindset internally and externally
Communicate effectively via Slack and Zoom
Partner with and support our product operations team
You have 3+ years of overall engineering experience
You have 2+ years working with React and Node
You have 2+ years working with databases such as MongoDB or Postgres
You are able to effectively work independently as well as collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders
You work to a high degree of quality and accountability
Effectively communicate within a distributed team
Experience with TypeScript, Next, NestJS, and CQRS patterns
Experience in financial services
Expertise in cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Vercel
High proficiency with Postgres
Experience integrating with SaaS providers
