The General & Administrative Org

The G&A pillar of Pave includes our finance, legal, people, and recruiting teams. This community is responsible for the operational health of our business, and ensuring every employee has the tools and support they need to be successful.

As the backbone of Pave's platform, our G&A teams enable us to scale efficiently while maintaining compliance in the complex compensation landscape. The finance team ensures capital allocation aligns with our growth strategy, while legal safeguards our innovative compensation data products.

Meanwhile, our people and recruiting teams implement the same compensation philosophy we champion for our clients, attracting and retaining top talent through transparent, competitive, and equitable pay practices. The Recruiting Team @ Pave

We're a strategic, high-impact team that partners directly with leadership to build world-class GTM and R&D organizations. Our team own end-to-end hiring across all levels and are trusted advisors who shape how we attract and close top talent in a competitive market.

Recruiting isn't just about filling roles—it's about building the team that will define the future of compensation management. You'll have the tools you need to succeed, the autonomy to innovate on process, and direct exposure to high impact company-building decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for R&D roles across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data—from crafting Boolean search strings and sourcing passive candidates to closing senior hires
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, build talent pipelines, and drive strategic workforce planning as we scale our technical teams
  • Build and execute innovative sourcing strategies using Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and creative outreach to engage top technical talent in a highly competitive market
  • Manage candidate experience end-to-end, including interview coordination, offer strategy, compensation discussions, and communicating Pave's total rewards package to close candidates
  • Leverage data and recruiting metrics in Greenhouse & Gem to optimize pipeline health, time-to-fill, and hiring quality—and continuously improve our recruiting process
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader G&A team to share strategic projects that will help scale our hiring infrastructure

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech company
  • Proven track record sourcing and closing engineering talent across multiple levels and technical disciplines (frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, etc.)
  • Required: Hands-on experience with Greenhouse (ATS), Modernloop, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Strong Boolean search skills and creative sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates who aren't actively looking
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you can sell a company vision, navigate complex offer negotiations, and create an exceptional candidate experience
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining high quality bars and attention to detail

Compensation, It's What We Do.

Salary is just one component of Pave's total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Pave will include equity, top-notch medical, dental, and vision coverage, an unlimited PTO policy, and many other region-specific benefits. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. This salary range may include multiple levels.

The targeted cash compensation for this position is (level depends on experience and performance in the interview process):

P3: $140,000 - $160,000
P4: $168,000 - $188,000
