This work is deeply personal and heart-driven, and we want teammates who care about the mission and the people we serve. For the right candidates, we present a rare opportunity to do well by doing good. Plume offers an affirming, trans-centered, culturally inclusive, and fun work environment filled with purpose.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Integrated Operations Team at Plume! The ideal candidate enjoys working cross-functionally and can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is responsible for finding opportunities to improve performance, streamline operations, and accelerate scalable growth. You will own cross-functional technical projects and strive to build data-driven, tech-enabled solutions and drive action with pace. You will lead various programs by sharing a clear vision, creating actionable plans, and coordinating teams and resources for their completion and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of IT and engineering projects, holding yourself and others accountable for deadlines and deliverables.
  • Understand the technical requirements of other departments and explain them clearly to different groups within the organization.
  • Lead discussions on technical design and architecture with various teams, and communicate effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop organization-level processes and partner cross-functionally with product management, design, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and successful rollout of technical projects.
  • Track performance metrics, find ways to improve processes, and develop methods for better operational performance across different teams, with minimal guidance.
  • Regularly assess the technology stack, manage updates and retirements of old systems, and ensure everything runs smoothly for engineers, members, and stakeholders.

Must-Haves:

  • A strong appreciation for the trans experience and a desire to increase access to gender-affirming care
  • 6+ years in a management role, preferably in program management
  • 6+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience
  • Familiar with managing projects through the entire Software Development Life Cycle - experience with health tech startups or subscription-based healthcare is a plus!
  • Proven ability to work with technical teams to create systems, solutions, or products and deliver them from start to finish.
  • Experience working with tech and product teams to build and deliver end-to-end products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies.
  • Ability to understand and present data-driven insights to leaders, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively influence decisions among stakeholders.
Anticipated closing date for this role will be June 14th, 2024.
All Full-Time Employees are Eligible for:
• Ground-Floor Equity (Series B)
• Free Medical, Dental, and Vision on the first of the month after you start full-time work
• Unlimited PTO
