We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Manager to take charge of our Backend Engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining our internal back-office applications and integrations. As the team Manager, you will be instrumental in driving technical excellence, managing the delivery of high-quality software, and cultivating a collaborative environment within the team. Additionally, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, enabling a rapid feedback loop to ensure efficient development cycles. If you possess a strong technical background, a track record of successful leadership, and a genuine passion for building reliable software solutions, this role presents an ideal opportunity for you.


  • Lead and manage a small team of talented backend engineers working on the development and maintenance of our internal back-office applications and integrations
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, fostering their growth and professional development
  • Actively participate in hands-on coding and technical contributions, leveraging your expertise in backend engineering to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate closely with other teams, including other engineering teams and customer facing teams such as customer support and professional services teams, to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Help the team drive the design, development, and maintenance of features for efficient management of workspaces, billing configurations, data operations, contract provisioning automation, and integrations with internal systems
  • Automating currently manual processing and contributing to the bottom line by improving our operational efficiency
  • Ensure the back-office applications and integrations meet high standards of performance, reliability, security, and scalability
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and drive their adoption within the team to enhance the platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, open communication, and continuous improvement


  • Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams and delivering successful projects on time
  • Previous experience as a backend engineer
  • Experience or willingness to learn Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with database management systems, particularly with Postgres
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for delivering high-quality software solutions and a commitment to technical excellence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
  • Prior exposure to back-office applications and integrations
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and programming languages
