Lifecycle Marketing Manager

** We request that this professional be onsite at our office on 333 Bush Street, San Francisco, three days per week (Mon, Tue, and Thursday).

We are looking for an experienced Lead Lifecycle Marketing Manager focused on driving user engagement metrics and expanding our lifecycle marketing channels. You'll be responsible for building outstanding customer experience through lifecycle channels such as email and in-app messages, working directly with Growth, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

As a Lead Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll drive the strategy and execution of new lifecycle programs and be responsible for user engagement and feature adoption. The perfect fit for this role is an ambitious, growth-oriented marketer that’s data-driven and possesses strong technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Scalable Campaigns: Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to support our product-led growth initiatives.
  • Rearchitect Nurtures: Support all stages of the customer lifecycle with evergreen nurture programs designed to move the needle on metrics such as enterprise qualification, new user activation and long term retention

Own the Email Channel: Act as the internal subject matter expert for all things email and own the strategy and implementation of diverse email campaignsDefine OKRs and Growth Initiatives: Work with growth and marketing leadership to set OKRs, contribute to planning, and suggest and implement growth initiatives.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with growth product managers, customer success, and marketing to develop and execute strategies that drive user engagement and product adoption.

  • Optimize Segmentation: Develop and refine segmentation and content personalization strategies by leveraging user insights and business data.
  • Improve Processes: Proactively identify gaps in processes and infrastructure, propose solutions, and enhance production efficiency.
  • Implement A/B Testing: Conduct complex, multivariate A/B tests, monitor and analyze performance, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Document and Standardize: Build and maintain process documentation, establish best practices, and improve team effectiveness.
  • Analyze Performance: Regularly analyze results, determine benchmarks, and provide performance updates to assess business impact and inform recommendations.
  • Leverage Analytics: Collaborate with the analytics team to build dashboards, plan and analyze experiments, and uncover new user insights.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing roles
  • Deep knowledge of the email landscape and best practices (email deliverability, privacy)
  • Technical knowledge of email and in-app communication tools (Marketo & Intercom a plus)
  • Self starter; ability to drive both strategic and tactical workstreams forward with minimal oversight
  • Data informed; ability to analyze trends and decipher actionable insights from data
  • Experience owning experimentation roadmaps
  • Knowledge of attribution and measurement frameworks
  • Familiarity working with product data and the teams that capture and model it
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams
  • 2+ years experience working in B2B SaaS preferred
