About the Role:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Resemble AI, you will be responsible for creating the first conversations with the companies that will become our future customers. This role is highly focused on outbound prospecting and written communication, with a strong emphasis on thoughtful, personalized emails and LinkedIn outreach.

You’ll report directly to the Sales Director, and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to test messaging, refine our ideal customer profile, and generate high-quality pipeline in a fast moving, early-stage environment. You won't just execute a playbook, you will help build it.

If you’re excited by outbound, curious about AI, and motivated by learning what makes buyers lean in, this role will give you meaningful ownership and visibility across the company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own outbound prospecting into defined ICP accounts using primarily email and LinkedIn, with light calling as needed.

  • Write and iterate on outbound messaging that drives replies and real conversations, not just activity metrics.

  • Research accounts, personas, and use cases to personalize outreach and increase relevance.

  • Book qualified meetings that convert into real sales opportunities and revenue.

  • Partner closely with Sales to align on target accounts, qualification standards, and feedback on lead quality.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to test value propositions, use cases, and vertical messaging.

  • Share learnings from the field on objections, competitors, and buyer priorities to influence GTM strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate net-new pipeline through consistent, high-quality outbound outreach.

  • Craft compelling prospecting emails and LinkedIn messages that speak to real business problems and product value.

  • Continuously test and refine messaging based on response data and live conversations.

  • Qualify prospects and ensure meetings are aligned to our ICP and use cases.

  • Track and manage outreach and meetings in sales tools and CRM.

  • Contribute to the development of repeatable outbound processes we can scale.

  • Act as the voice of the prospect, bringing market insights back to the broader GTM team.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a BDR or SDR role, with significant outbound responsibility.

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Comfortable researching accounts and tailoring outreach, not relying solely on templates.

  • Ability to manage your own pipeline, activity, and follow-ups with strong organization and accountability.

  • Coachable, curious, and motivated to improve through feedback and experimentation.

  • Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where processes are still being built.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, developer tools, or technical products

  • Startup experience where you had to operate with ambiguity and wear multiple hats

  • Familiarity with modern sales tools (CRM, sales engagement platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

  • Demonstrated career progression or strong interest in growing into an AE or broader GTM role

Location:

  • Remote-first with occasional onsite presence required for company events and gathers.
