Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

The GTM Strategy & Operations team is responsible for solving some of the most pressing challenges impacting Affirm’s Revenue engine. The team works directly with Revenue leadership, as a strategic partner, and with cross-functional stakeholders across a variety of strategic initiatives to drive quantifiable impact on our business.

As a Manager on the GTM Strategy & Operations team, you will support a Revenue segment leader (e.g., Client Success, Sales) and their team to help shape and drive the segment’s strategy and measure progress against it. You will be a strategic partner to the segment leader on segment health and identify opportunities and gaps to focus. You will also establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the business segment across a range of topics including strategic projects, initiatives, organizational design and headcount efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills across analytics, problem-solving, communications, organization, and cross-functional collaboration. In addition, this role may require people management background.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a strategic partner to the segment leader in helping shape and drive the segment’s strategy, including goal-setting and measurement, and identification of gaps and opportunities to focus

  • Partner with the segment leader in establishing and running the operating rhythm for the business segment, including team updates, executive escalations and other focus areas

What We Look For

  • 6+ years of work experience in strategy and operations, preferably in consulting, banking, private equity and / or other mid-to-large scale technology companies
  • Strong background in analytics, and ability to operate across SQL, spreadsheets and data visualization tools
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, including ability to operate in ambiguity and establishing frameworks to apply to emerging business problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively, and craft compelling narratives to influence business and technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organization and execution skills, including ability to operate independently and drive strategic initiatives from ideation to end outcomes
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
  • Background in people management, as this role is expected to manage a small, yet high caliber team
