Who We Are

Roboflow is a venture-backed SaaS startup that empowers innovators all over the world to build, train, and deploy computer vision models. Roboflow believes that computer vision is a foundational technology that will transform every industry. We currently have over 1,00,000 users, including half of the Fortune 100.

Roboflow has enabled our customers to accelerate cancer research, conduct experiments in space, accelerate the world’s transition to green energy, and improve the retail experience (to name a few!) with world-altering technology. Investors like Y Combinator, GV, David Sack’s Craft Ventures, Lachy Groom, the founders of OpenAI, and many others back Roboflow.

We are building a team that is both versatile and adaptable. Each role has tremendous potential for growth. As such, we believe that coachability, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial mindset are more important than experience or qualifications.

What We're Looking For

You’re driven by launching new products that change the world. You get excited by building viral demos and being first to come up with novel use cases of new technology. You love to excite and equip others to build and learn new skills. You’re intrinsically motivated by our mission and excited to evangelize Roboflow.

You’re ready to devote the next part of your career to an exciting and critically important developer product, and know how to deliver work that will inspire people to spread the word about it.

You don’t just want to be part of an industry movement, you want to be out front leading it.

What You'll Do

As the first DevRel hire, you’re taking the function from zero to one. You’ll be responsible for driving our goals for enabling every developer to build with computer vision. You’re not starting from scratch, over a million developers use Roboflow today. We have the raw materials ready to be molded and scaled by a DevRel leader.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own DevRel strategy and execution at Roboflow

  • Drive awareness and adoption of Roboflow tools in the developer community

  • Develop tools and integrations to help make Roboflow easier and better for software developers to use

  • Build projects that will help improve the bleeding edge of the main Roboflow product

  • Create demos, applications, and technical content while sharing your progress online and promoting Roboflow on social media (ie X, LinkedIn, Twitch, etc)

  • Create content to educate, inspire, and equip technical audiences with tools and techniques that make them better at their craft

  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Design to develop new projects in support of the launch of new features

  • Write guides, examples, and documentation to make our software more accessible and understandable.

  • Build community with Roboflow users and developers online and in-person; being incredibly helpful and inspirational to the community, giving talks, attending conferences, winning hackathons, and hosting events.

  • Be an active participant in communities like HN, relevant subreddits, Discord groups, GitHub Issues, and the Roboflow forum.

You may also have or quickly develop ideas for amplifying and expanding our community even more -- and we can’t wait to support those as well.

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of developer relations and engineering

  • 3+ years of DevRel related experience, preference for experience in companies or with products in B2B, AI, cloud, and/or developer tools

  • An excellent track record of shipping software projects with fast adoption and virality, either as part of a previous job or on your own

  • A strong technical background that enables you to build fast and learn new things quickly

  • The ability to translate complex technical information into engaging and easy-to-understand content, guides, tutorials, examples, and applications

  • Self-starter with the ability to analyze ambiguous situations, develop a plan, execute and iterate

  • Drive outcomes with urgency, influence stakeholders, build consensus and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Deep customer focus and motivated to become an expert on our industry, customers, product, ecosystem, and competitors.

  • Active contributor to communities online and/or in-person
