The team

The Route Engineering team develops next-generation technologies that change how millions of consumers see, share, and discover the world's most innovative brands and products. Route Engineers have backgrounds in distributed systems design and development, large-scale data storage and processing systems, UI design, mobile, and much more — but what unites this talented team is a passion for the Route mission to connect the world's commerce through our suite of transformational products.

The opportunity

Route's software engineers are developing next-generation technologies that change how millions of users see, share, and discover the world's products. We care deeply about our mobile users, iOS development, solving large scale problems, and bringing large data to small devices with an elegant user experience. We are looking for a mid- senior, versatile mobile engineer that is excited to be at the forefront of our product innovation and build customer facing mobile applications for iOS.

What you’ll do

• Work on a modern iOS app in partnership with an excellent design/product team.
• Exercise entrepreneurial muscles by generating ideas and leading the process of bringing them to production.
• Rely on a robust data pipeline to validate decisions and promote learning.
• Contribute with our high quality bar. We focus on maintaining a 99.9% crash free experience for our customers.
• Shape the future of online shopping.

What we’re looking for

• 3-5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience building iOS applications with Swift UI / UIKit
• Familiarity with CI/CD, REST API design, Dependency Injection
• Experience with Coordinator Pattern (MVVMC)
• Experience with Golang preferred

Pay Transparency

Salary for this role: Utah: $134,640 - 171,000

The cash compensation above includes base salary, and is not reflective of potential commission for employees in eligible roles, or annual bonus targets under Route’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all Route employees are eligible to participate in Routes equity incentive plan to receive stock options per the terms of the agreement. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their career level, skills, experience, specific geographic location qualifications and other job-related reasons.
