Scope3 is the industry’s leading collaborative sustainability platform. By modeling the complex digital advertising supply chain, we help brands measure and dramatically reduce digital waste to reduce carbon emissions from advertising and increase the efficacy of advertising investment. We’re a reliably-funded company of 75 folks distributed across the globe. We are fortunate to be led by an experienced leadership team, many of whom designed and engineered the digital advertising landscape as we know it today. The company secured $20M in Series B funding led by GV in Oct 2023 (additional investors include Venrock, Rucker Park, Room40 Ventures, and Craft Ventures). Scope3 has significant market traction with more than 70+ customers and is experiencing accelerated growth.

Scope3 is a fully remote company and largely asynchronous to provide flexible working hours and to operate globally, with concentrations in New York and Europe.

About The Role

We are excited to add a Solutions Consultant to our Solutions team of 12! Reporting to the Head of Solutions Consulting, Publishers & Platforms, this individual will be responsible for providing technical services and strategic recommendations to publishers and ad tech platform clients globally. Other responsibilities include overseeing integrations of Scope3 offerings and solutions, supporting clients in translating emissions measurements into carbon footprint reductions, and educating partners on sustainability.

The ideal candidate is an AdTech domain expert who thrives working in a fast paced start-up environment with ever-evolving projects and priorities, and will play an important role in raising the bar for how we operate internally and with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Scope3’s decarbonization solutions and ensure long-term success
  • Manage technical projects, maintain integrations, and gather data to refine our emissions model
  • Consult on reduction strategies and provide ongoing enablement/support
  • Educate customers and partners on the environmental challenges faced by the programmatic industry and how they can be overcome
  • Build healthy and strong relationships with key stakeholders based on the ability to earn their trust and deliver value
  • Understand Scope3 products intimately including how we measure CO² emissions throughout the advertising supply chain
  • Create tailored training and best practice materials that showcase value of Scope3 solutions
  • Collect client feedback on Scope3’s offering and ideas on how to improve products, operations, and processes
  • Advocate for customers by partnering closely with internal teams (commercial, product and other supporting functions) to solve problems in the short-term while contributing to long-term solutions with potential to benefit Scope3’s entire book of business
  • Build repeatable processes and seek continuous improvement to enable the team to scale

Skills & Experience

  • Experience creating training materials across multiple methodologies (presentations, audio recordings, live content, etc)
  • Experience working with APIs and web-based technologies
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Background in client-facing roles
  • Familiarity with technical interfaces, programming/scripting, and databases
  • Capacity to learn independently and stay self-motivated
  • Possess a new or continued interest in sustainability, and how it’s shaping the future of advertising and the media industries

Preference May Be Given To Candidates With The Following:

  • Experience in marketing, advertising, or ad tech
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python
