About Scope3

Scope3 is redefining advertising for an AI-first world, building the foundation for agentic advertising that connects brands with their audiences—wherever they are. Brand agents on the Scope3 platform drive measurably better media outcomes while enabling safe and sustainable growth. Our partners include leading advertisers, agencies, publishers, and platforms across the entire media ecosystem.

We’re a venture-backed company of 65 fully remote team members distributed across the globe and largely asynchronous with teams across North America, Europe, and APAC. We are fortunate to be led by an experienced leadership team, many of whom designed and engineered the digital advertising landscape as we know it today.

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Account Director to serve as the primary bridge between Scope3 and the world’s largest global advertisers. This is not a traditional sales role, it is a position for a visionary leader who can build deep, direct relationships at the highest levels of brand organizations.

Your mission is to guide these brands through a fundamental shift in how they interact with the media market. You will move past transactional sales to create long-term strategic alignment, helping brands integrate their own buying agents into the Scope3 exchange to drive performance across every possible media channel.

What You'll Do:

  • Cultivate Direct Relationships. Foster deep, high-level partnerships with CMOs and Global Media Leads, to become a trusted advisor in their transition to agentic media execution.
  • Scale the Agentic Ecosystem. Drive the adoption of agentic buying across the full media mix, including Social, CTV, Audio, DOOH, and Linear TV and ensuring brands are positioned to win on emerging AI surfaces.
  • Lead with an Agentic-First Mindset. Demonstrate how Scope3’s autonomous infrastructure replaces legacy manual processes, providing brands with unprecedented speed, transparency, and cross-channel efficiency.
  • Architect Strategic Partnerships. Develop and execute Joint Business Plans that focus on long-term value, moving brands from experimental phases to fully integrated, agent-led execution models.
  • Collaborate with Agentic Product Teams. Work directly with our engineering and product squads, who build with an "agents-first" philosophy, to ensure the exchange evolves in lockstep with the needs of the world’s largest spenders.
  • Navigate Complex Media Environments. Guide brands through the nuances of a multi-channel world, showing them how a single agentic exchange can unify their strategy across disparate platforms.
  • Champion the Future of Media. Serve as a thought leader who can articulate why the shift to agentic exchanges is inevitable and how it benefits the brand’s bottom line and the broader internet ecosystem.

Who You Are:

  • Relationship-Driven Leader. You have a proven track record of building and sustaining multi-million dollar relationships with global enterprise brands.
  • AI-Native Thinker. You don't just use AI tools, you understand the fundamental shift toward agentic systems and can explain the "why" to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Omnichannel Strategist. You have deep expertise across the media spectrum, including Social, CTV, Audio, DOOH, or Linear TV, and understand how these channels are converging.
  • Visionary Architect. You excel at creating strategic roadmaps that transform how global organizations think about and execute their media investments.
  • Expert Communicator. You possess the ability to translate complex, autonomous technical concepts into clear, actionable business advantages for non-technical leaders.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you are defining a new category, not just following a playbook.
  • Collaborative Partner. You work seamlessly with internal product, engineering, and success teams to ensure a unified and world-class experience for your brand partners.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in AdTech/MarTech enterprise sales or account management
  • Experience selling into large brands or agencies
  • Track record of closing and expanding complex deals
  • Comfortable navigating long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Existing network within brand or agency ecosystems
  • Based in New York City Metro. This is a remote role but with frequent, in-person collaboration with colleagues and execs

Compensation:

$275k-$350k is the OTE for this role (this will be comprised of base + variable).
