As our first Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in our growth and financial health by overseeing and managing key aspects of our finance and accounting functions, while also influencing strategic decisions to help us scale.
What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain the annual budget, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support strategic decision-making

Support our CEO in updating Secoda’s valuation and revenue reporting as necessitated by significant financial events

Deliver monthly and quarterly updates for investors and prepare deep financial analysis on performance for Board meetings

Own all accounting functions including full cycle accounting, AR, AP, and payroll
-
Partner with and be the main POC for our external accounting team

Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Provide a high level of commitment to customer service towards internal and external customers
Who You Are:

5+ years of experience, ideally a combination of public accounting and industry

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

A strong communicator that can present to the Board and Leadership team of key financial metrics

Understanding of GTM motions and financial nuances for fast paced technology companies
-
Chartered Professional Accountant Designation (CPA)
Highly preferred:

Hybrid Office Policy (Tuesdays, Thursdays + every other Friday)
We have a beautiful office in Liberty Village (109 Atlantic Ave) and work in a Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday as our in-office days. We provide lunch for our team every other Friday.
We believe time together in person is valuable and important. We host ample social opportunities and encourage employees to attend team off-sites and events (dinners and game nights) as well as a yearly 4-day retreat.
