About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team of experts in Voice AI Agents. In this role, you’ll drive key architectural decisions, shape product features, and work directly with our founders to set the technical vision of our AI solutions for emergency services. You'll be solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of real-time systems, voice processing, and artificial intelligence.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and iterate on novel real-time voice AI features, setting the standard for next-generation emergency communication tools
• Contribute to the evolution of our architecture as we scale our systems to meet the security, scalability, and availability needs of our customers
• Own the development of new features across our entire application stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces
• Optimize audio processing algorithms for real-time performance in critical situations (including Speech-to-Text, Voice Activity -----Detection, Endpointing, Interruptions, Noise Filtering, Emotion Detection, Text-to-Speech)
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other emerging technologies into our AI pipelines to improve our products
• Future opportunities to mentor and lead as our team grows
  
  

What You’ll Bring

Technical Skills

• Real-time or concurrent programming using Elixir, Go, or similar languages
• PostgreSQL
• Speech and audio processing
• LLMs and AI technologies (LangChain, Cohere, Open AI, Anthropic, LLaMA)
• Containerization (Docker or Kubernetes)
• Building and supporting high available production systems on public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
