What You’ll Do
These applications you will be involved in developing with us are built around the relationships between our existing iOS & Android Mobile Application platform (C#/.Net – Maui – Previously Xamarin - and MS SQL in the Cloud, API development etc.) and then:
- Leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) software by flowing Data from MS SQL to Mongo DB (using Node.JS APIs) and then flowing data from Mongo to Tableau (and other BI applications).
- Giving the BI software Write-back capability directly from the BI tool back to MS SQL (developing and working with Node.JS APIs back to MS SQL) so that average users can perform some extremely efficient work flows that are currently very burdensome and involve a maddening amount of excel work.
- Making complex business reporting creation accessible to the average, non-technical worker through a simple to learn and use interface (developing in Node.JS., Mongo and React).
- Designing (with your team) and developing performance improvements throughout the system.
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js and React: Applicants are expected to have practical knowledge of full-stack JavaScript development, specifically using Node.js for server-side programming and React for creating dynamic, interactive front-end user interfaces. Experience with state management (e.g., Redux), RESTful API integration, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) is preferred, along with the ability to build scalable, modular web applications.
- Minimum of 4 years of recent hands-on experience with C# / .NET development. Experience writing REST APIs in C#
- Solid experience with MongoDB: Candidates should have a strong understanding of NoSQL database systems, with specific expertise in MongoDB preferred. This includes designing schemas, performing CRUD operations, optimizing queries, and managing data in a distributed environment. Familiarity with MongoDB aggregation pipelines, indexing strategies, and integration with application frameworks is highly valued.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL): Applicants must possess knowledge of relational database design, development, and optimization using MS SQL. This includes writing complex SQL queries, creating stored procedures, triggers, and functions, and managing database performance, indexing, and data integrity. Familiarity with database administration tasks, such as backups and migrations, is a plus.
- Previous experience as a team lead
