About The Role
At Turo, we are looking for a dynamic and talented Full Stack Engineer with a strong inclination towards frontend development. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills. You will be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration, working on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology.
What You’ll Do
What you’ll do: - Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, Typescript, Kotlin and MySQL - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Utilize Playwright to build robust web automation tooling for efficient and reliable external integrations. - Proactively monitor and diagnose system problems as well as report on system health. - Participate in agile development processes and contribute to team planning sessions.
What You’ll Bring
What you’ll bring: - 5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, and Playwright. - Experience with Kotlin (or Java), Gradle, and Spring Boot - Familiarity with MySQL and database management. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to challenges. Nice to have: - Experience with any of the following: New Relic, Jest, Opencsv, AWS(DynamoDB, S3, KMS, SQS), Temporal
