About The Role

Bridging between web2 and web3; Ulys offers an optimal fintech platform for trusted banking and digital assets. We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our founding engineering team. You’ll play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling backend systems that power our core product. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role suited for someone excited to build from the ground up in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Experience in fintech and/or Web3 applications is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and blockchain engineers to define and ship features.
• Help define the system architecture and technical roadmap.
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers as we grow the team.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• Experience with designing APIs and working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
• Passion for crypto, Web3, or a strong curiosity to dive in.
