About The Role

As a Front-End Engineer at Daloopa, you will collaborate with our product and engineering teams to design and develop cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences for our web applications. Your primary focus will be on implementing user-facing features, ensuring high performance, and delivering a seamless and responsive user experience. We are looking for proactive engineers who identify opportunities, propose solutions, and take ownership of both technical and product improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into functional web applications.
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and TypeScript (required).
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate web applications with RESTful APIs and other data sources.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and Core Web Vitals performance metrics, while ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Take ownership of performance KPIs (e.g., Lighthouse scores, load times) and drive continuous improvements.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues and implement solutions as needed.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Front-End Engineer or a similar role for 5-10 years (required).
• Proven experience managing large projects (required).
• Desired proven experience at US-based technology companies (even better if series B or above).
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, package managers, and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, npm, or yarn).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar).
• Knowledge of front-end observability practices (e.g., Sentry, Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools).
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated and capable of taking full ownership of projects from concept to deployment
