About The Role
Seeking a full stack engineer to help build an AI-powered fintech platform to modernize financial operations for mid-sized and enterprise companies. The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack software engineer who is a self-motivated fast problem solver - someone who is comfortable with and enjoys building greenfield projects. We’re a dynamic startup, agile, and committed to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions to our customers. Since our inception, we've experienced remarkable growth. Our founding team is made up of seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts, supported by leading venture capital firms. Our customer base has rapidly evolved from small businesses to large-scale enterprise customers. You’ll be transforming our existing product into a full-fledged scalable enterprise offering, leveraging modern technologies to build scalable and robust solutions to problems like document and data processing, reconciling financial transactions, anomaly detection, complex calculations, and more. The ideal candidate loves technical challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is able to find the right balance between building the right thing vs building it right. You’ll play a central role in our product development, working with seasoned tech veterans.

What You’ll Do
- Building out our application and supporting services
- System design and development
- Backend engineering (NextJS/NodeJS)
- Frontend engineering (ReactJS)
- Infrastructure configuration, deployment, and maintenance
- Database management
- Testing and monitoring
- Customer implementation support
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack experience
- TypeScript/JavaScript (React, Next.js, Node.js)
- GCP/Firebase
- SQL/PostgreSQL
- Technically strong (quick at learning/implementing new technologies, strong system design, problem-solving, identifying tradeoffs between different solutions, and debugging skills)
- Proactive, self-sufficient, biased toward action
- Strong opinions, loosely held Preferences
- Previous startup experience with U.S. based technology companies
- Previous fintech/finance/accounting/insurtech experience
- Experience with complex mathematical calculations and general data science knowledge is a plus
- Experience with CRM/ERP (e.g. Salesforce, Quickbooks) and banking integrations
- Experience with a variety of analytics platforms
