About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will employ your technical expertise to help your team implement new features, refactor key parts of the codebase, and improve the overall quality of the product. Along the way you will be challenged to grow professionally and predictably ship code that helps your team achieve business goals.

What You’ll Do

• Develop deep expertise your team's domain and work productively within it
• Consistently design code that utilizes design abstractions and encapsulation effectively
• Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Apply sound judgment when using AI-generated code ensuring correctness, security, performance, and alignment with existing architecture
• Effectively communicate peer review feedback to help your peers produce better code
• Approach all assignments with a security lens, actively look for security vulnerabilities both in the code and when providing peer reviews
• Review stories critically and ensure theyʼre appropriately broken down, and dependencies are well understood by the team
• Mentor teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, empathetic manner
• Effectively debug production issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve system observability

• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and well-documented APIs
• Experience building integrations and automations using Pipedream and similar workflow automation platforms
• Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platforms, including infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
