About The Role
This Engineering Manager role leads the Portfolio Services team at the core of Addepar’s data platform, driving developer velocity, process automation, and cross-functional execution to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions. We play a pivotal role in enabling data to flow across our data platforms into our client’s instances. Working at the critical intersection of application, analyst, and operations teams, we promote developer velocity and robust process automation. Working with a healthy mix of new technologies and existing core applications, the team thrives on solving complex challenges to deliver high-impact solutions. What You’ll Do
• Contribute to shaping our ambitious program of product features, technical debt reduction, and scalability improvements • Coach and mentor a team of software engineers • Deliver solutions for our clients, drive software delivery and improve engineering processes • Collaborate with partner teams across Addepar to deliver impactful results for both internal and external clients
What You’ll Bring
• Minimum 7+ years of software engineering experience. • 2+ years leading software engineering teams, preferably in a platform engineering context • Experience or interest in financial technology • Proficiency in developing with server-side OO languages like Java or Python. • A great communicator adept at working with cross-functional partners • You value developing people and coaching engineers to succeed. • Experienced with managing software projects throughout the SDLC, improving team agile processes, estimation and project planning
